Giovanni Battistella received his degrees in Biomedical Engineering (B.Sc. and M.Sc.) from Politecnico di Torino in Italy and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. He has extensive experience in graph theory, advanced morphometric and functional analyses of neuroimaging data, machine learning, statistical inference methods, and multimodal acquisition protocols at high and ultra-high MRI fields strength. Dr. Battistella’s research aims at decoding the neural mechanisms underlying neurological voice, speech and language disorders using a combination of different imaging modalities and advanced computational tools.
