Profiles
Bethany completed her medical degree at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and graduated from Villanova University with a B.A. degree in Sociology with a minor in Chinese. In medical school, Bethany conducted sleep research on the techniques in hypoglossal nerve stimulation. She also conducted patient education research in laryngeal dystonia and carried out projects on the role of AI chatbots in patient care. Now, as a research assistant at the Dystonia and Speech Motor Control Lab, Bethany is interested in the role of advanced neuroimaging in novel therapeutic interventions for patients with dystonia.
